• You have already determined that your symptoms are a mindbody condition (TMS).
• You are looking for support and self-reflective tools to advance your recovery. |
Students should understand the basics of current mindbody pain science and have already ruled out any serious or life-threatening illness with their medical providers.
Using the framework of Internal Family Systems, each class session will focus on one of the eight facets of Self Energy (the 8 C's of IFS). By learning to access more Self energy, students can cultivate resiliency and enhance their process of inner healing.
Class sessions include learning materials, group discussion, guided visualization, and writing exercises. Sessions will also include a gentle somatic practice (Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® Lesson).

(Connections that may have been disturbed through habitual misuse, tension, or injury). Focusing on developmentally-based patterns of behavior, students can rediscover movement range and ease. With greater movement efficiency, students enhance their potential to excel, whether in high performance activities such as in sports and the arts or simply living more fully. |
